About Dean Morrison

Dean has been an accountant since 1994. He has worked in the accounting profession from 1994 to 2002. This part of his career culminated in working as the Audit Manager of a large suburban accounting firm. During this time he also managed a book of business services and tax clients.

From 2002 until present Dean has worked as CFO of 2 company groups in the insurance industry. It is here he has developed a thorough knowledge of the “how to” aspect of running a business. He has been (and still is in one instance) solely responsible for the entire accounting function of these companies.

Dean has decided to step out of the corporate world and back into the accounting service industry. By launching bluesky business solutions he is hoping to make use of the skills he has developed over 17 years. His aim is to provide an invaluable resource to his clients and a small network of professional service providers.

Dean is married with a son and daughter both entering their teenage years. He is actively involved in his children’s sporting pursuits. He is an avid follower of the AFL (in particular the Hawks). His other passion is golf and he can regularly be found on the fairways at the Peninsula Country Golf Club in Frankston North where he is a member.
